The Mortlach Rec Board is a group of volunteers who oversee the day to day operations of the Rink in Mortlach. They organize fundraisers, do the maintenance, and look after any activities at the rink. Their dedication makes it possible to have a facility for our families to enjoy for skating and a gathering place for community groups and the public.
Every Spring and Fall the Rec Board does a fundraiser bottle drive. In February they work with the Museum Committee to host a Bingo, silent auction, and live auction which is a fun social evening for the community and another great fundraiser. The community support for these fundraisers pay the bills for the rink and keep the skating fees afordable for everyone. Help with the fundraisers or volunteering to be on the board is always welcome.
