The Mortlach Museum is located in the old Firehall, which was constructed in 1911. The Firehall was where all the business of the village was conducted. It housed the fire engine on the main floor, with the Mayor's office and the Court House upstairs on the second floor. The Jail cell on the main floor is still operational.
We have an extensive collection of artifacts which tells the stories of early pioneers and settlers. Our Firehall has been declared a Heritage site.
Bring your camera : We'll take your picture in the jail cell!
