Arlene Joyce Millar (nee Bacon) passed away peacefully at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK., on Friday, February 9th, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Arlene was the eldest child of Elvin and Elvina Bacon of the Darmody area.
Arlene was predeceased by her mother and father, Elvin and Elvina Bacon and son, Darcy
Arlene will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Clem; daughter, Anita (Allen) Knudson; daughter-in-law, Mikki Millar; seven grandchildren, Verik Siminton, Wyatt Siminton, Dalton Millar, Ivy Millar, Taylor Dingwall, Holly Knudsen and Ashley Knudsen; sister, Patsy(Frank)Slabosz; sister-in-law, Wanda (Paul) Ziobrowski; brother-in-law, Hugh (Candace) Millar as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver, B.C. and the staff at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital in Moose Jaw for their care and kindness to Arlene and her family.
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held at a later date in April at which time an announcement will be posted.
